According to the Causeway.one.network, which details road closures and roadworks around the UK, Bar Lane will be closed from Aberford Road until after Easter. A repair to a burst water main, carried out by Yorkshire Water, will take place until 6pm on April 13th.
The work is currently listed as ‘in progress’. It has reportedly been worked on since 5.15pm on Thursday 2nd of April.
In the late afternoon yesterday The Garforth Gazette went to investigate.
The pavement was still available to walk for pedestrians.
