A planning application to convert a disused retail establishment into a hair salon was granted full planning permission by Leeds City Council in late March, with the premises being titled ‘Sui Generis Hair salon’. The address of these premises will be 62 Main Street, between Himalayan Essence and GE Hartley and Son Funeral Directors.

What the building looks like.

There will reportedly be 3 car parking spaces for this salon, and the estimated opening and closing times would be 9am-6.30pm on weekdays, and 10am-5.30pm on Saturdays.

The salon plans show that there will be four seats and tables for styling, two hair wash stations, a waiting area and a staff room, as well as a toilet.
