Recently, new road access has opened for some allotments in Garforth managed by the Garforth Allotments’ Association. There are quite a few allotments available, in larger and smaller sizes. The area is secluded and lies next to the train line, with great parking access and other people working alongside on their gardening.
There is a small parking area nearby for authorised access and allotment holders only. All other sites are on the street. When someone gets an allotment, they are given a key and can attend to tend to their produce whatever time of the day. Members will also become a part of the Allotments’ Association, and attend coffee mornings, meetings and make friends socially.
This is an opportunity for serious gardeners who don’t mind a challenge, as there is a lot of preparation needed for some of the allotments, but it is rewarding work!

There is also a planned Open Day for Bank Row only at 21st June from 10 til 2. Otherwise, viewings are through appointment only.
