On the 2nd March, 2026, Garforth’s Main Street welcomed a new addition to its hairdressing and styling offerings, as the new barbershop and tattoo studio ‘Main Street Barbershop and Tattoo Studio’ (on the nose, and, I imagine, great for SEO) opened its doors.
Reece Clough, the owner of the shop, spoke about the opening on Facebook on the 22nd February, sharing more information.
‘Everyone’s welcome. Kids adults teenagers… after years of graft, I’m proud to open my own barbershop right here at home.’
The barbershop boasts five local barbers and a tattoo artist, along with free beer and whisky on opening day. Soft drinks were also offered for the children!
Clough mentioned that the barbershop offered 50% off customers’ first services with the team, and that bookings were available through walk-ins and the app Booksy Biz.
There will also be a ‘Grand Launch Party’ for the shop on the 7th of March, complete with a Peaky Blinders theme and country-style performers from 6pm. Free beer, free whisky, and free tattoos are also promised, with all clients welcome.
